Triple Chocolate Chip is an indica dominant hybrid strain by Glass House Farms. This hybrid is unique and took on almost all the qualities of its indica parent. Triple Chocolate Chip is a strain you can take from day to night if you do it right.

The Triple Chocolate Chip strain comes from a nursery by the name of Glass House Farms. Triple Chocolate Chip results as a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and OG Kush. Glass House Farms is a plant nursery based in the Santa Barbara area. They pride themselves on assuring everything they do from the cannabis they cultivate to how it’s trimmed is done with the utmost of attention to detail and care. They are environmentally friendly and use practices that maximize water retention and minimize waste to lessen their impact on the environment. It’s great to know, not only that they’re a local company, but that they’re concerned and aware about the impact a company of their size has on the environment. I love that they’re making an effort to reduce their carbon footprint through methods used in cultivation and other standard processing of cannabis. They even produce CBD only strains like Jelly Fish for consumers who want the healing effects of cannabis without the psychoactive effects of THC.

The Triple Chocolate Chip strain is one that is pretty to look at and even better to smell. The nugs of the Triple Chocolate Chip strain are vivid green and range in size from small to large. The purple spotted nugs are generally fat and wide with a solid density and texture. The bud is sticky and extremely frosty but easy to break up with your hands. It doesn’t require a lot of pressure, just diligence. There’s a layer of kief that remains on your fingers after touching this bud that is equally as bright green as the bud it came from. A sensation of tackiness remains on the fingertips as well. At the very least, wipe your hands thoroughly after rolling the Triple Chocolate Chip strain. I’d recommend washing your hands just to avoid stinging the hell out of your eyes if you accidentally touch them. The aroma is very earthy with a touch of sweetness. The flavor echoes this with its woody, earthy, and sweet notes.

The effects of the Triple Chocolate Chip strain leaves consumers feeling relaxed, hungry, tired, creative, and lazy. This strain is a bit of a contradiction. The batch that I got tested at 17.25% total cannabinoids. Some medical uses for this strain include anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, poor appetite, ADHD, and more!

Overall, the Triple Chocolate Chip strain by Glass House Farms is an impressive and delectable bud that will be making a reappearance in my rotation in the near future. The balance works great for someone of my tolerance level and for how I like to enjoy cannabis. I highly recommend this strain. On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate the Triple Chocolate Chip strain by Glass House Farms an 8.5. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts on it in the comments below!
