OG Flower by Rambling Rose is a newcomer to the cannabis scene but this strain holds its own against others like it. If you’ve got a list of favorite strains, Rambling Rose OG should be at the top of that list! Dank and heady, this strain packs a punch. With a name like Rambling Rose, you’d think this would be a collection of gentle strains with a slower onset, however, the OG Flower strain is quite strong and quick to take you on a wild ride!
There isn’t a lot of information online about the Rambling Rose Farm. They’re a fairly new brand being launched by Humboldt Farms, which is based out of Humboldt California. Humboldt, California is in the North of the state of California. A lot of great cannabis comes out of Northern California like Emerald Triangle, Flow Kana, and of course, Humboldt Farms. According to their social media, Rambling Rose has only been around since January of 2018. They have a handful of strains they produce like Grapefruit, White Cherry Truffle, and OG Flower.
APPEARANCE AND AROMA
The OG Flower by Rambling Rose comes packaged in a glass jar in a prepackaged eighth. The jar is decorated with their brand name and logo which is a rose with an eye in the middle. The OG Flower strain is a sticky but light and fluffy bud. The scent is very light and fragrant with some subtle dank undertones. It smells a lot like a sativa. The nugs are bright green with a few flecks of orange pistils throughout. The trichomes aren’t very noticeable in this bud. The bud is fairly easy to break up with the hands. It leaves a slight sticky, gritty residue on the fingers when you break it up with your hands. If you dust off the trichomes, the remaining feel on your fingertips is similar to a good matte lipstick.
EFFECTS AND USES
The effects of the OG Flower strain leave consumers feeling calm, relaxed, tired, unfocused, and sleepy. Some medical uses for the OG Flower strain include insomnia, stress, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and other mood disorders. This strain wouldn’t be recommended to treat pain or any injuries. OG Flower is a pretty potent strain that’s easy to lose track of time with. The effects of this strain last anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on the consumer’s tolerance level. It’s recommended to start with a low dosage and work your way up when trying this strain for the first time. The batch that I got tested at 583.17mg THC.
Overall, the Rambling Rose OG Flower is a solid cannabis strain coming out of Northern California. It’s worth a try for those looking for new, more underground brands being produced by more well-known sources. OG Flower is a good, first introduction to the Rambling Rose brand by Humboldt Farms. I’ll be keeping an eye out for more interesting releases from this brand in the near future. In the meantime, check out your local dispensary or delivery service to find OG Flower by Rambling Rose.
