Wild Hemp Weed Cigarettes

As the market for CBD and hemp expands, more companies are rolling out products we never knew we needed. Weed cigarettes are already available in certain regions. A company called Wild Hemp makes a pack of pre-rolled weed cigarettes. The silver and green box comes decorated in glittery cannabis leaves with the words “0% THC” in the bottom right corner. So then, what’s in it?

WHO ARE WILD HEMP?

I found out about this company through musical rap artist Trippie Redd. Trippie Redd is an avid cannabis connoisseur who lives in LA but is from Canton, Ohio. He posted on his social media a photo of the Wild Hemp cigarettes with a caption that read, “Weed cigarette.” This piqued my interest because I’d never heard of this brand or seen the actual product in real life.

This prompted me to do some more digging considering I’d never in my life heard of Wild Hemp weed cigarettes. But, in LA, anything is possible. According to online sources, they are dedicated to bringing natural hemp cigarettes to consumers. They also sell vapes and tinctures. Their site states, “Wild Hemp products are made from broad spectrum hemp oil grown and extracted in the mountains of Colorado. The broad spectrum oil we use is farm bill compliant and regulated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture.”

CBD INSTEAD OF THC

There is no THC in the product because it is made from hemp. There is no nicotine in the product because there is no tobacco. The Wild Hemp cigarettes contain 10mg of CBD. According to the Wild Hemp site, the only ingredient in their “hemp-ettes” is organic hemp. They state that they use organic hemp flowers which are full of CBD and different terpenes. There’s less than 0.3% THC in this product. If you’re purchasing online a single pack will run you $12.99 and a carton will cost $119.99.

CBD has many health benefits. It works as a powerful painkiller, an anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, a stress reliever, antiemetic, has anticancer effects, and promotes homeostasis. There are countless studies that show that CBD is great for relieving and managing pain. Wild Hemp’s product is made from organic hemp. Hemp is a non-psychoactive plant, primarily for use in clothing, paper, biofuels, bioplastics, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and personal care products, and foods. Hemp is cultivated outdoors as a large crop with both male and female plants being present to foster pollination and increase seed production.

Wild Hemp uses broad-spectrum CBD oil, also known as full spectrum CBD. Full spectrum CBD contains all of the terpenes, cannabinoids, fatty acids, and flavonoids found in hemp. Each of these has their own therapeutic value and together they create what is known as the entourage effect. Full Spectrum CBD also contains trace amounts of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), but in very low concentrations (up to .3%), resulting in very minimal psychoactive stimulation.
