Nebula is a hybrid strain produced by a company called Paradise Seeds. It contains a modest level of THC at 18% but can range from 16-20% depending on the batch. Nebula was first released in the UK and has been a smash hit all around the world since then. The Amsterdam based company has been breeding some of the world’s most popular genetics since the early 90s.
Nebula is a beautiful strain with a mixture of bright and dark green hairs and flecks of fiery orange. It’s not super dense, making it easy to break up with the hands if a grinder isn’t at your disposal. The smell reminds me of oranges and grapes but is said to have floral undertones. It’s a very pleasant smell that any medical marijuana connoisseur would enjoy. The smoke is a bit harsh but overall pleasant and kind of tastes like honey. This strain is one that hits slowly. Once I was done, my immediate thought was to smoke another blunt. As I sat there, I realized I’d been stuck in an odd position for a long time, long enough that my limbs were beginning to grow sore, and my reaction time was slow to say the least. I didn’t feel overwhelmed like I have in the past with other hybrids. The feeling of being “too high”, I didn’t get that with Nebula. However, I do see why people insist that it produces a powerful mental high considered “out of this world.”
This is a well-balanced medical marijuana strain that encourages sleep and deep relaxation while facilitating stress and anxiety relief. I felt very calm and drowsy after using Nebula. It was only 6:40pm. I couldn’t go to sleep. I could only focus on one thing at a time, although I’m normally a multitasker. Just like with any other medication, I don’t recommend driving after consuming the Nebula cannabis strain.
Nebula has easily become one of my favorite hybrid strains. Next time I use it, I’ll be sure to carve out some time for a nap or just try to use it closer to bedtime. A little goes a long way with this strain. I find that I don’t need to roll a super fat blunt to get the desired effect. In fact, a regular joint or even a bowl is just fine for me with this strain.
