Banana Puddintain Live Resin Review

banana puddintain live resin

On my recent trip into Portland, Oregon I was searching for a new and exotic strain that I’d yet to sample. Within seconds of looking at the concentrate shelf at one of my favorite shops in the Rose City, Left Coast Connection, I stumbled across a flavor I’d never laid eyes on in the Banana Puddintain Live Resin from Beehive Extracts in collaboration with Boring Weed Co. for $28 USD a gram. I was a bit hesitant due to the price but I’m a sucker for anything Banana so I pulled the trigger. Now to give you a little strain lineage background, this Indica-Dominant Hybrid comes from Swamp Boys Seeds out of California and is a three-way cross of their Banana OG X GMO Cookies X TKSkunk Male and is said to be super tasty and potent.

I decided to use my Toro Glass Bubbler for this session and upon opening the jar I was met with mild notes of Diesel and Banana with a hint of skunk. At first glance, this Live Resin was gorgeous and looked like golden diamonds with a heavy amount of terpenes. As I dug my nail into the resin I was very pleased with the consistency which was very easy to work with as it was simple to grab the perfect sized glob. As soon as the dab hit my quartz banger I could instantly taste the Banana Puddintain’s Diesel funk along with a nice Banana finish but it wasn’t overwhelming. As for the stone, I was definitely ripped after one solid dab but this was far from devastating. I did enjoy the high which was strong but not couch-lock material but had me happy and smiling for a good two hours. Another positive about the Banana Puddintain was that it took away my bank and neck pains nicely and was very helpful as mellowing me out.

Overall, I enjoyed the Banana Puddintain Live Resin but felt a little disappointed paying $28 for her. When it came to her taste and pungency, the Banana Puddintain was flavorful but not as heavy as I had hoped for, especially at that price point so I gave her a score of 8.8/10. In terms of her strength and potency, I enjoyed the stone that the Banana Puiddintain provided but she wasn’t as devastating as I was hoping for at that price point so I gave her a score of 9.2/10. Now, in no way was this a bad sample, it just didn’t live up to what I expect for a $28 Live Resin as I’m probably spoiled. But unless you see the Banana Puddintain at a better cost, I would steer clear if I were you.
