Kookie Glue Batter Review

kookie glue batter

I’ve been noticing a ton of new and exciting strains coming through the Pacific Northwest as of recent days. On a trip last week to my favorite shop in Portland, Oregon named Left Coast Connection, I found a brand new wax from Mana Extracts, based out of the Rose City named Kookie Glue Batter for $18 USD gram. To give you a little lineage background, Kookie Glue is an Indica Dominant Hybrid that crosses Gorilla Glue #4 with Girl Scout Cookies and from what I’d been told, packs a punch. Now from what I’ve found, a Batter is pretty much the same thing as a Sugar Wax except it’s a thicker batter-like consistency. This gear was absolutely gorgeous and had the look of a Golden Terpy Sugar Wax. The Kookie Glue Batter wasn’t saucy like live resin, but it also wasn’t dry like a crumble.

I was extremely excited to give the Kookie Glue a try as I’d never tasted this particular strain which had a whopping terpene content of 12.57%. I decided to go with my Toro Glass bubbler for this session and as soon as I opened the jar I was hit in the face with heavy notes of diesel and citrus. This wax had the look of straight fire and as I dipped my nail into the Kookie Glue batter I was happy to find it very easy to work with as I grabbed the perfect sized dab and once placed into the quartz banger it was off to the moon. The Kookie Glue was a legit one-hitter quitter and as soon as I exhaled I found myself choking on the delicious Chemy explosion that was by no means harsh. This was some Cup level gear as I was instantly super baked and felt the couch-lock coming on as I tasted nothing but the delicious flavors of Cookies and Glue on my tongue. Within a few minutes, I was smack dab in my love-seat trying to open my eyes. The Kookie Glue Batter was definitely a narcotic high as I was devastated for a solid 2 hours and did nothing but listen to some jams and think about what I was going to eat as the munchies were on a whole different level. I wanted “All the foods” if you catch my drift. I eventually settled on enough Carne Asada Tacos for an army and I was more than content. I would definitely recommend this hard-hitting strain for anyone in need of pain relief as well as relaxation as the Kookie Glue had me floating on clouds all night.

Overall, the Kookie Glue Batter was an awesome sample on every level. When it came to the Kookie Glue’s flavor and pungency I loved the entire sweet and sour profile that left heavy Glue and Cookie notes on my palate so I gave it a score of 9.7/10. When it came to the Kookie Glue’s strength and potency, this is where she left her mark on me as I was fully destroyed in the greatest of ways. This was the type of gear you absolutely save for special occasions, so I gave it a score of 9.8/10 making the Kookie Glue one of my top strains of the year so far. By all means, if you see the Kookie Glue Batter on your dispensary shelf, you better grab it as fast as you can…Before I do.
