Live Resin. You might be wondering what does that even mean. Well to put it in basic terms, “Live” = using buds/trim that were just picked off a plant and then frozen to make hash. Cured Resin is a sugar wax or shatter etc. that was made once the buds had fully dried. Live Resin is said to contain more of the full natural flavors and terpenes vs. cured resins. Now that we’ve gotten that taken care of, I wanted to give you a review for a special new Live Resin I just picked up from local WA producer 710 Reserve, that goes by the name of White Gorilla X Pineapple Kush. As you could probably tell by the name, this strain is a hybrid cross between White Gorilla (White Fire OG X Gorilla Glue #4) X Pineapple Kush (Pineapple X Master Kush).
First off, the jar appeal on this Live Resin was extraordinary. The package said it contained 10.25% Terpenes and you could tell by looking at the Live Resin’s saucy consistency they weren’t lying. As soon I opened the jar I was hit in the nostrils with a jet fuel funk along with the hint of skunk and fruitiness. As I dipped my nail into the terpy sauce I was able to easily grab a nice glob of resin and once in contact with the quartz banger, it was blast off mode. I instantly found myself coughing up a storm as I exhaled a delicious cornucopia of flavors. This one was straight gas with skunk and pineapple, completely as advertised. She was definitely a one-hitter quitter as I instantly had to sit down to get my legs under me as she had my eyes completely shut. I was floating off into space for a good minute before coming out of the fog to find myself heavily, and I mean heavily stoned. This one was deep, to say the least, but not in a painful or harsh way. Smooth and mellow was how I would describe this smoke as it left her taste on my palate for a good couple of minutes. The White Gorilla X Pineapple Kush Live Resin is absolutely no joke and will “mess you up good man” as I explained to my buddy. I was ripped for a solid couple of hours and I found it to actually give me some solid energy once the initial high calmed down. I would definitely recommend this strain for anyone dealing with Pain, Anxiety, Energy or Hunger issues.
Overall, I found the White Gorilla X Pineapple Kush Live Resin to be up to Cup Level when it came to her flavor and pungency. This one is just a beautiful mix of terpenes that reminds me of the old school chronic I’d get back in the 90’s so I gave it a 9.7/10. As for her strength and potency, the White Gorilla X Pineapple Kush hit hard and left you beyond ripped. For that reason, I had to give her a score of 9.8/10 which I believe makes this my #1 extract so far this year. Tip of my cap to you 710 reserve, you folks knocked it out of the park with this treat.
